Christian Life Class

The Christian Life Sunday School class, meets in Room 114 & 115. We study the standard literature used by several denominations including Presbyterian and United Methodist. The weekly lessons are based on scripture passages, and offer opportunities to discuss them in light of our own lives and the life of our congregation. Leadership is shared among several members of the class, and open discussion is encouraged.

If you are not presently in a Sunday school class, please come and join us in our continuing efforts to learn how to follow the great teacher whose name we claim, Jesus Christ.

Keystone Class

The Keystone Class is a diversified class in that the class includes in this time a time for sharing joys and concerns of all members of the church. David Horst started teaching the Keystone Class 27 years ago, and has been the primary teacher since. They celebrate birthdays with song and with a flower pinned by David on each birthday person.  With David at the piano the class spends some time singing their favorite songs from their own songbook.

Seekers Class

Are you seeking? We are a class of approximately 20 adults who don’t have the answers to all the questions about the Bible.

We started this class in the fall of 2005 with a general study of the Bible. (Just the basics!) Our next course of study was the Old Testament. (Start at the beginning!) In the process of looking at the Old Testament we familiarized ourselves with the “childhood bible stories”.

We are a people on this side of the cross, so we are moving into New Testament study. We want to see Jesus!  Come join us on the journey!

Searchers Class

The “Searcher’s Class” is true to its name. Having been a university teacher for over twenty-five years, Dr. Conley Leckie, Jr. teaches this class.  Conley’s method of study for the class is one of participation. Using the BIBLE as our book of study, the class decides upon the basic topics to be studied. Our atmosphere is informal, filled with interest, and sometimes even FUN, sharing concerns & joys of all church members. Our weekly offering is for outreach in the community, including monthly support of mobile meals.
