VCC and New Vessels to Host Convocation Preacher August 1
For the first time in over 50 years, African American Disciples will meet in Oklahoma City for the National Convocation. VCC and New Vessels will welcome Dr. Eric Brown, pastor of Woodland Christian Church in Columbus, Ohio as our pulpit guest that day. Members of both congregations and guests of the Convocation are invited to Coffee Hour at 10:00 a.m. in the Family Room, followed by worship at 10:30 a.m.
Prayer Workshop Rescheduled
Remember the March snows? Sounds good now doesn’t it? But on March 20th we were disappointed that impending weather caused us to cancel the prayer workshop that LaDonna Meinders had prepared for that day.
The workshop has been rescheduled for Saturday Morning, August 28th, so please mark you calendars and look forward to the opportunity to grow in our prayer life.
